In Clarisy Town

When you try to visit the professor in Clarisy Town, the assistant tells you he's out. You'll need to wait for him to return, so help out the townspeople while you wait. After completing both events below, talk to the assistant again to advance the story. If you're unsure, try talking to everyone in Clarisy Town.

• A man says he buried a keepsake somewhere outside town but can't go get it himself — retrieve it for him.
• Find an old woman's lost ring. Complete the keepsake errand first and the man will give you the ring.

After clearing both events, you'll be directed to Professor Wymes — head to the cave northeast of Elm Castle.

In the Tower Northeast of Rin's House

You head to Rin's research lab on the top floor to find materials for breaking the memory seal. The most important thing here is to flip the switch on the 2nd floor. If you skip it, the door to the top-floor lab will be locked when you arrive.

In Kokuram Castle

There are two events in Kokuram Castle:

• Rescue Kokuram Castle
• Seal the Monster Nest

Rescue Kokuram Castle

Kokuram Castle is surrounded by a barrier and cannot be entered. To get in, you must complete the following events and obtain the Kokuram Bracelet:

• Visit Kokuram Castle to trigger the barrier event.
• Talk to the soldier in the weapon shop at Soldo Town.
  • If you choose "Buy" when prompted, the soldier will ask you to bring a Golden Bamboo Shoot. Get it from the old woman in Elm Castle and give it to him to receive the Kokuram Bracelet.
  • If you choose "Fight" when prompted, you'll battle the soldier, and defeating him earns you the Kokuram Bracelet.

With the Kokuram Bracelet in hand, enter Kokuram Castle and defeat the Centaur that has invaded.

Seal the Monster Nest

After rescuing Kokuram Castle, King Kokuram asks you to seal the nearby monster nest. Go to the cave west of Kokuram Castle (or southwest of Soldo Town) and defeat the Golem. Report back to King Kokuram to receive the Kokuram Dagger.

From Kokuram Kingdom to Lando Kingdom

Pass through the cave just outside Edge Town, then cross the checkpoint beyond to enter Lando Kingdom. Two obstacles stand in your way:

• Battle with Falus and Advan
• Passing the checkpoint

To pass the checkpoint, you must have sealed the monster nest and obtained the Kokuram Dagger. If you don't have it yet, return to Kokuram Castle and finish that event first.

The Tower East of Lando Castle

This tower is a bit complex, so floor maps are provided below. The staircase connections aren't labeled, but in general the same coordinates connect across floors. For example, if there's an up-staircase at (10,10) on floor 1, it connects to the down-staircase at (10,10) on floor 2.
